If you weren't already hyped enough about John Wick 3 coming out, perhaps a bloody John Wick video game will do the trick?
John Wick! John Wick! John Wick! John Wick!
One of the most fun things about the John Wick universe is the way it is slowly building an elaborate lore to populate its world of wacky intense assassins. In this featurette, we get to explore one of the centrepieces of that lore: the Continental.
Named John Wick Hex, it's being published by Good Shepard and being lead by Mike Bithell of Thomas Was Alone fame.
The game is described beautifully as "fight-choreographed chess". It's not just an orgy of violence and blood, you actually need to use strategy in order to navigate your enemies and choose the best courses of action.
"Players must choose every action and attack they make, while considering their immediate cost and consequences. Every move in John Wick Hex feels like a scene from the movies, and every fight contributes to your progress on the job and requires precise strategic thinking," said the press release.
This sounds vaguely similar to Super Hot, but as the trailer reveals, it practice its more turn-based and reminds me of the good old days of Knights of the Old Republic. But with more bullets.
John Wick Hex will feature a new story to shoot your way through and will also include unlockables such as weapons, locations and most importantly - suits.
There has been no word on whether any very good doggos will be involved AND HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BAD HAPPEN TO THEM.
There's no release date yet, but we do know that it will be coming to some undisclosed consoles and will be available on PC and Mac exclusively on the Epic Games store when it launches.
We'll be gagging for it until then.
