The Huawei P30 Pro Is Now Available In Australia

Roughly three weeks after being announced in Paris, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro have finally been launched in Australia. We have all the details right here.

Packed with a stunning camera, as well as an epic two day battery life, the Pro in particular has already set itself up to be a contender for the best smart phone of the year. It didn’t take long for the telcos to start dropping their plans for Huawei’s new flagship, and we have them all right here. We have them all right here.”]

The P30 Pro includes 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, with the regular P30 has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

It has also been given Huawei’s own Kirin 980 processor, which we first saw in the Mate 20 series last year.

As we have come to expect from Huawei, it has a great battery – 4,200mAh with 40W supercharge capabilities.

It also has the same reverse wireless charging that we first saw in the Mate 20 Pro, as well as an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

And that isn’t the only thing that is in-screen. The Pro has a speaker built into the display, which Huawei is calling it Acoustic Display Technology.

The camera of course is the real hero of this device and is our pick of the year. At least until the Mate 30 Pro lands.

While nice shots aren’t a surprise from a Huawei phone, the 10x hybrid zoom, 50x digital zoom and truly insane Night Mode certainly were. We’ll have more on that in our upcoming review, but we also wrote about it here.

Here are the rest of the specs:
