With a higher price point, it seemed to be making a play for some of the more expensive brands and models in market.

While there is lots to like here, there is room for improvement. But with the price tag its currently rocking – you may not care about the issues.”]

We first glimpsed the Hisense OLED at CES at the start of the year, so its been a long time coming. In addition to offering a slim and bezel-less design, it also comes with 4K Ultra support, Wide Colour Gamut out, High Dynamic Range content and 200 Smooth Motion Rate tech.

Hisense have also stated that it will have deep blacks and will run on VIDAA U 2.5 Smart TV OS, which is compatible with Hisense’s RemoteNOW smart app.

“Australian consumers crave high-quality technology in their homes but are also incredibly design-conscious, especially when it comes to their TVs. The increasing demand for our premium ULED TVs reflects this, with our entire range experiencing strong growth year on year,” said Andre Iannuzzi, Head of Marketing at Hisense Australia.

“The launch of the Hisense OLED TV further demonstrates our unwavering commitment to brilliant design, technology and innovation, which are at the heart of everything we do. We’re very excited to be bringing this product to market,” he added.

The Hisense OLED is available in both 55-inch and 65-inch models, with RRPs of $3,499 and $4,999 respectively and are available now. Only select stores will have them though, so make sure you check the availability over on the Hisense website.
