This week D-Link launched its new Viper 2600 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi Gigabit Modem Router – here’s everything you need to know about it.
The Viper has been designed with gaming and HD streaming in mind, combining MU-MIMO AC2600 Wi-Fi with Gigabit Ethernet and a dual-core processor with four simultaneous data streams. It’s also NBN and UFB ready – which is important for people like me who has a hole outside their house but still no NBN.
“The VIPER 2600 has been designed to provide the ultimate HD streaming and gaming experience. To that end the VIPER 2600 uses advanced beamforming technology to track your connected devices with superior Wi-Fi speed and range, and D-Link SmartConnect technology automatically and intelligently distributes these devices across both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands for optimal Wi-Fi performance. This next generation VIPER 2600 takes a bite out of the competition with great specifications, at a great price point in the market,” said D-Link ANZ MD Graeme Reardon.
