Who Is America? has caused a bit of a stir of late – and Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest creation promises to go out with a bang. The season finale, screening tonight, features none other than OJ Simpson.
Stop the planet, I want to get off.

Who Is America? (which you can catch on Stan is Australia) features the comedian’s first new character in 15 years, exploring the diverse individuals who populate the good ol’ U S of A.
OJ Simpson, of course, is famous for being the man the Kardashian’s Dad defended in 1994 when he was arrested and charged with the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. Or something like that. I don’t remember the details, I was still mourning the death of Kurt Cobain. He was acquitted by a jury.
In tonight’s episode, Baron Cohen takes on his Italian playboy character, Gio Monaldo, in order to interview the man Who Is America? describes as an “American hero and women’s rights activist”. Tongue firmly in cheek, I suspect.
