Samsung Leaked Its Own Galaxy Watch

After a myriad of Galaxy Note 9 and S10 leaks over the past month, Samsung accidentally added to the pile by listing its next smartwatch on the U.S. website. Say hello to the Galaxy Watch.

As first reported by Scott Stein over on CNET, the watch didn’t seem to be on the website for long. It was pulled not long after the story went live

But it was enough for a screenshot of the new Galaxy smartwatch to be taken.

As the image shows, what we have here is a 42mm rose gold Galaxy Watch and the model number is SM-R810NZDAXAR. The link reportedly went to a dead page so there no details around pricing or specs were revealed.

Despite being pulled from the site, The Verve reported that it was still coming up in the ‘related products’ carousel. It has since disappeared from there too.

It looks like this may be the smartwatch to eclipse the previous existing Gear range, and we have a feeling that an official unveiling may come at Unpacked on August 9th (most likely 10th here in Australia) alongside the long-awaited Note 9. I’m particularly interested in seeing whether Samsung will stick to Tizen OS, or move over to Wear OS.

We’ll be on the ground in New York for the event, so you’ll know all the confirmed details as soon as we do.
