We Are Pumped For The Women In Tech Panel At The Sydney Writers’ Festival

“Why do the tech and science industries remain a boys’ club after so many years? How are inroads finally being made? And who are the success stories bucking the trend?”

These are just a few of the questions that are going to be asked at the Women in Tech: Okay Ladies, Now Let’s Get Information panel at this year’s Sydney Writers’ festival. As a tech site being run by women, we are so there.

Hosted by Deb Verhoeven, Associate Dean of Engagement and Innovation at University of Technology Sydney, this event will bring incredible women in tech together to talk about and celebrate women within the tech industry.

The panel will be made up of Aminatou Sow (founder of Tech LadyMafia, Call Your Girlfriend podcast host, Forbes 30 Under 30 in Tech), Angela Saini (British writer and science journalist), Elanor Huntington (Dean at ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science). You can find out more about them on the Sydney Writer’s Festival website.

Women in Tech: Okay Ladies, Now Let’s Get Information is on Saturday, 5 May, 2018 3:00PM at Carrigaeworks, Sydney. You can book tickets here.
