If your Mum is constantly on the move, worrying about your protein intake or muttering something about bodies being temples whilst hiking up a mountain – we’ve got you sorted this Mother’s Day.

Jaybird RUN Wireless Headphones, $249.95

Whether your Mum is running marathons or power walking to get her morning coffee, these wireless headphones are the perfect solution to crank her tunes with more than four hours of play every charge. They also allow her to take calls on the run. Literally.

The Jaybird RUN are truly wireless, fitness-focused earbud headphones in the vein of the Apple AirPods, Samsung Gear IconX, Jabra Elite Sport and the like. They don’t have any cables, with each of the two earbuds their own self-contained battery plus tiny speaker driver plus all the necessary smart wireless tech to talk to your phone and to each other. A bunch of different silicon tips and wings let you customise the fit for your ears individually, too.

Zoku Stainless Steel Drink Bottle, $39.95

Image: Supplied

The Zoku Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Bottle will make sure Mum’s cold beverages stay that way for up to 30 hours and her hot beverages don’t lose steam either. It maintains heat for up to 10 hours.

Designed to take a hit, this double-walled bottle is made of heavy gauge 18/8 stainless steel, but is easy to carry with a removable paracord lanyard.

Cygnett 20,000mAh USB-C Power Bank, $169.95

This is one Mum will thank you for even if she doesn’t see the appeal straight away – trust me. It charges phones and tablets, laptops, and itself – quickly and efficiently. Because there’s nothing worse than finally reaching that lookout after a six hour hike and realising your phone is flat so you’ll miss out on that incredible photo.

The Cygnett ChargeUp Pro USB-C supports USB-C’s 15-Watt default charging standard (5V 3A), Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 (up to 18W), USB Power Delivery (up to 27W for phones, up to 45 Watts for laptops), and USB charging at 10.5 Watts (5V 2.1A).

FitBit Versa, $299

The Versa is the first Fitbit to really fit my tiny sparrow wrist, so you know they’ve actually considered the needs of a range of women. It is the lightest, most comfortable, durable and versatile fitness watch out there at the moment, I reckon – with an ultra-thin, anodised aluminum case and slightly tapered and angled design. The rounded square silhouette display features a bright, colourful touchscreen and sharp graphics up to 1,000 nits, providing the ideal format for Mum to see all of your data on your wrist.

And, for the first time, Fitbit has really zoned in on women’s health with the company’s latest fitness tracker. Mum can track her menstrual cycle, which connects to her overall health profile. In between runs and swims (yep, you can swim in this one) she can record symptoms like headaches, acne and cramps and have a record for her doctor.

The North Face Ventrix Jacket, $350

This is one serious jacket. Mum can tackle the challenges of rapid elevation gain and loss with this new, lightly insulated award-winning jacket that features state-of-the-art Ventrix ventilation for balanced warmth and breathability. It responds to Mum’s body movements during aerobic activities for balanced warmth and breathability.

Perforations in key areas are designed to expand and dump heat or contract and retain as Mum moves, so she won’t overheat or sweat out. It is water repellant, wind resistant, and perfect for working out as the weather cools. Oh, and it is super lightweight, too – it bunches up to take up minimal space in a pack. I’m in love with mine, Mum will love hers too.

Under Armour HOVR Phantom Running Shoes, $210

The HOVR Phantom is seen as the “Luxury” model of the Under Armour footwear range. This is a shoe is designed to make a statement, look incredible but still have strong performance features.

I’ve been using this shoe for my daily runs and I can’t sing it’s praises enough – your Mum will love the lightness, comfort and general “squishiness” of this shoe – and it is one of those fangdangled “sock style” ones too. I wear mine with socks for extra comfort and a better fit.

The 30 Day Fitness Challenge, $17.99

Sometimes, finding the motivation to exercise is hard. This nifty motivational device is jam-packed with challenges. All Mum has to do is pull down the paper tab and rip out a challenge each day for 30 consecutive days – or whenever she needs a little motivation.
