The First Ford Ranger Raptor Pricing Has Been Revealed

Ever since it’s official announcement in Thailand earlier this year, we’ve been wondering how much Ford’s Raptor Ranger was going to cost. Well, it was just revealed at the Bangkok International Motor Show.

A combination of the Ford Ranger and the F-150 Raptor, the Ranger Raptor seems to be an absolute unit. With a 2 liter Bi-Turbo diesel engine with the 10-speed transmission, as well as the F-150’s 157kw of power and 500Nm torque, that’s easy to believe, even if it won’t be getting a V6. If you expected there to be a price tag to match the specs, you wouldn’t be wrong.

Early speculation put the price at around $70,000, and while we don’t know the exact Australian pricing as yet, it has been confirmed to cost 1.699 million Thai bhat. At the time of writing that converts to roughly $70,800.

Taking market premiums and on road costs into consideration, it’s highly unlikely that this is going to be anywhere close to the final cost for Aussies. Get your wallets ready.

You can take a cheeky look at the Ranger Raptor below, and also read more about it in one of our previous reports right here.

The Ford Ranger Raptor will be available later this year.
