Electrolux PUREi9 Robot Vacuum: Australian Price, Features And Availability

The latest product in Electrolux’s vacuum cleaner robot range, the PUREi9, is here – and it comes with an app-controlled customisable cleaning schedule.

Here’s all the details.

Electrolux was the first to launch a vacuum cleaner robot, back in 2001, and since then the company says it has worked to “continuously improve functionality, accompanied with outstanding design and aesthetics to perfectly align with the contemporary consumer and their busy lifestyles”.

The PUREi9 has a 3D Vision System, 3D mapping navigation, can be controlled from anywhere using your smartphone, and lets you customise a clearning schedule, check status and control the vacuum cleaner at any time.

There’s a smart charging and resuming system, too – when returning to the base automatically for charging, Electrolux promises the PUREi9 robot will start cleaning again where it left off.

The ClimbForceDrive (yes, that’s a real feature name) and advanced detection system aims to help prevent it getting stuck on carpets, under furniture – and stops it taking a fall down the stairs.

The shape of the PUREi9 is designed to get right in along walls, around obstacles and in corners.

You can pick one up for $1,699 in Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Godfreys, Betta Home Living, Bing Lee and RetraVision.

We haven’t had the chance to get our hands on one just yet, but we will let you know as soon as we do.
