Video: It’s been a while since we last heard from Cindi Mayweather, but the Archandroid has a new message for all of her believers. It also happens to come with a guest appearance from Thor: Ragnarok’s Tessa Thompson.

Though she’s most recently been blowing audiences away with her stellar performances in series like Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams and Hidden Figures, most everyone knows Janelle Monáe for her music and the series of Afrofuturist albums about a time-travelling android messiah. Five years after 2013’s excellent Electric Lady, Monáe’s back with her third studio album, Dirty Computer.
No release date for the album has been announced, but certain screenings of Marvel’s Black Panther will feature a brief Dirty Computer teaser along with what Pitchfork described as “film narrative” about the project. Given how immersive and layered Monáe’s previous records and accompanying music videos have been, Dirty Computer‘s guaranteed to be… well, an experience that will blow your mind.
