Watching Rian Johnson Slice Up A Porg Is Satisfying No Matter What You Think Of The Last Jedi

Rian Johnson is more than happy to do what Chewbacca couldn’t: Devour a porg.

At a Disney party to celebrate the success of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the writer and director of the film was presented with an incredibly realistic porg cake. I mean, look at it. It’s a stunning (and stunningly accurate) cake.

But as anyone who has seen The Last Jedi knows, Johnson has no problem killing our heroes. And here’s what he did to the porg:

Now, as a fan of The Last Jedi, that video makes me laugh. But I’m sure people who don’t like The Last Jedi can also look at that and be like, “Yeah! Fuck those things!” So, in reality, this could actually be Johnson’s least divisive Star Wars movie.

The Last Jedi is still in theatres and has a crazy home release coming soon. Hopefully not “Cutting Up a Porg Four Ways” crazy, though.
