Speaking with JoBlo, Thomas Hayden Church reveals he appears in an upcoming, non-Marvel superhero movie.
I’m not supposed to talk about it, but I actually have returned, but not in the Marvel world, it’s another world, but it is in that genre of superheroes and supervillains. I’m not supposed to talk about it, it’s a movie I shot last year. They’re trying to keep it-and good luck to ’em-with, y’know, today man, I’m surprised it hasn’t already kinda been revealed.
Sandman Slim
Chad Stahleski will direct a film adaptation of Richard Kadrey’s Sandman Slim series, which concerns a hardboiled detective escaping Hell to get revenge on the magicians who killed his girlfriend and sent him “Downtown”. [Deadline]
Star Wars Episode IX
Omega Underground reported, and The Hollywood Reporter confirmed, Paul Inglis (Game of Thrones, Blade Runner 2049, Children of Men) has been hired as the film’s production designer.
Silver & Black
THR reports that director Gina Prince-Bythewood (The Secret Life of Bees) is doing a polish on Lindsey Beer and Geneva Robertson-Dworet script for Silver & Black, Sony’s Silver Sable and Black Cat film.
The Predator/Alita: Battle Angel
The Predator and Alita have both been hit with delays. Predator will now release in the US September 14, while Alita‘s US release will be pushed back a hefty five months to December 21. [Coming Soon]
Incredibles 2
The costumes are now in the wash, in this follow-up to yesterday’s poster from Coming Soon.
