The Proclaimers’ Classic ‘500 Miles’ Impressively Recreated Using 127 Movies

Video: You really can find anything on the internet. Such as, for example, this video of movie clips edited to “sing” the relentlessly cheery ’90s hit “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by the Proclaimers. It’s something you’d never think to watch or make, but now that it exists, we’re all better for it.

The amount of work that went into this is mind-boggling: 127 movies, cut together, to recreate the song. The process must have taken forever, but the result feels totally worth it. Check it out.

That amazing video was created by The Unusual Suspect on YouTube, who deserves a standing ovation for the work. Thank you for brightening our day.
