The most important thing to happen in the world of cinema in 2018 will be the 25th anniversary of the original Jurassic Park, which will be celebrated with a mountain of movie-related merchandise including this tiny drivable replica of the fictional park’s Jeeps from Fisher-Price. Ages five and up? Sounds like a challenge to me. Challenge accepted.
There will be more info about all the toys and collectibles enroute for both Jurassic Park’s anniversary, and the new Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom movie, at the 2018 New York Toy Fair in February. But Walmart Canada has given us an early look at one of the toys you’ll probably be buying for your kids, assuming you grew up with the film and now far surpass this Power Wheels’ 59kg weight limit.
In addition to extremely optimistic weight restrictions (hopefully) the new Fisher-Price Power Wheels Jurassic Park Jeep boasts a top speed of five miles per hour, a working light bar, graphics copied from the movie vehicle, and dinosaur chase sounds so you kids can pretend they’re outrunning a very, very slow Tyrannosaurus rex.
