Hey Westpac, That’s Not What A ‘PayPig’ Is

Yesterday, the term “Paypig” started popping up on Twitter. A lot.

Funnily enough, since 2013 Westpac has had an app aimed at helping kids save money through completing chores at home, and then getting paid for them at the end of the week. That app is also called PayPig. Curious.

Seems pretty innocent, right? Maybe there had been a recent update, but why would that get people talking?

And then we found this.

That’s right. According to the Internet’s home of debauchery, a Paypig is “is a submissive, almost always male, who has consented to financial servitude towards his Mistress.”

Oh, Westpac. What have you done?
