Deadline reports André Øvredal (The Autopsy of Jane Doe, Trollhunters) has been hired to direct the film adaptation of Alvin Schwartz and Stephen Gammell’s series of horror stories for children.

This is, suffice to say, perhaps an unlikely outcome of WB’s ongoing Batfleck-turmoil.

Entertainment Weekly has the first official image of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman in his own movie, still looking like he did in Justice League, just… pissed off and on a submarine.
