Year 4 Band Class Is Way Better With Vocoders, Drum Machines And Daft Punk

When I was in high school, the only reason I took music was to avoid spending two hours in the library every week. My motivations would have been completely different, however, were I raised in South Korea where year four students get to perform Daft Punk tracks instead of Sousa’s greatest hits.

I’m not only jealous that these students from Namsong elementary school in Daegu, South Korea, got to perform Daft Punk’s Something About Us, I’m also amazed at how perfectly they covered the piece with electronic keyboards, drum machines and one talented kid rocking a vocoder.
