Our latest look at Ava DuVernay’s adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s beloved book A Wrinkle in Time is here, and it gives us a much better look at the journey Meg is going to go on in her grand quest to find her father. It’s one that looks both extremely dangerous, and beautiful as hell.
Seriously, this is an absolutely wonderful-looking trailer, even if it doesn’t really tell us that much about the movie other than the obvious: young Meg (Storm Reid) finds out her father (Chris Pine) has been captured by a sinister force, and must journey across space and time to rescue him. Turns out, all of space and time can look magical… and also extremely petrifying.
But come on, if Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling, and Reese Witherspoon gave you the fifth dimensional power to fold time and space and go on an epic quest, you bet you’d take that opportunity. You can check out the latest trailer below.
