Google Pixel 2: Australian Release Date Revealed

An official launch date for the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL has surfaced, courtesy of JB Hi-Fi, and it’s likely sooner than you think.

We have received information that the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will launch on Tuesday, October 31 at JB Hi-Fi.

The image below comes courtesy of JB Hi-Fi, which uses Yammer, a Facebook-like social media service for organisations and, as such, this is an internally circulated memo.

The screenshot doesn’t state that this is for the Pixel 2 XL, so there is a chance that this device will be made available at a later date than the Pixel 2.

You’re likely already aware that preorders for the Pixel 2 are available from October 20, and you can currently join the waitlist on the Google Store Australia. If you want to preorder with JB Hi-Fi or Telstra you can register your interest now.

Obviously, without an official announcement, there is still a chance that this date changes so stay tuned to Lifehacker Australia for any further updates.
