Video: In Joe Kelly and Ken Niimura’s I Kill Giants comic from Image, a Dungeons & Dragons-obsessed teenager Barbara Thorson loses herself in her imaginary world of trolls and giants that, as the story progresses, begins to take over her life. And now we have footage of the live-action adaptation of that story.

In a clip from director Anders Walter’s live-action adaptation provided to Entertainment Weekly, we see Barbara (Madison Wolfe) and her friend Sophia (Sydney Wade) wandering through the woods where she’s set a trap for giants that she’s convinced are lurking near their homes. Though Barbara is certain that she’s destined to hunt and kill the giants she says she can see, Sophia isn’t so sure.
I Kill Giants premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival tomorrow.
