Vodafone has just announced its pricing for the new Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. If you're thinking of picking up a new Apple handset come September 22, here's how much you'll be paying on Voda.

Here's Vodafone's pricing for the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, straight up. Each table is supplied by Vodafone and tells you how much you'll pay monthly for the device, for Vodafone's Red plan, and for the total monthly cost.

The cheapest price you'll pay for an iPhone 8 is about $60 on a 2GB plan over 36 months. The cheapest iPhone 8 Plus is $64 for the same 2GB plan over 36 months.

From Vodafone: "These new plans give customers the ability to choose interest-free device payment terms that suit them best: outright payment with Vodafone’s SIM-only 12 month or month to month plans; or on 12, 24 or 36 monthly instalments. If customers choose to pay off their device early, they simply pay the remainder of the recommended retail price rather than being locked in or paying a heavy exit penalty. Vodafone’s new plans give customers the most transparent and flexible way to get the latest device and phone plan without being locked into a contract."

    Where's the iPhone x plans ?

They won't be out until closer to the launch in November.

        Okay, thanks

If Vodafone follows this pricing structure for the iPhone X, which they most likely will, then it’s the same red plan pricing and all you have to do is decide which capacity of the iPhone X model you want and devide the cost of it by 12, 24 or 36 months. Then you would add up the price of the red plan (e.g: $50 red plan) you chose and the cost of the iPhone X price for one month, and that’s what you would end up paying per month for either 12, 24 or 36 months. The price of the iPhone X is on the Apple website.

No doubt the other companies will try out do them, well, everyone else but Telstra. Haha, Telstra is always the most expensive route to go

No carrier is going to outprice Vodafone, their price is tied to their service offering.

Hold on $1379 total cost for the $50 red plan on a 12 month contract for a iPhone 8 256 doesn't add up. should be closed to $2000.

You're only committed to the cost of the phone and the current month of your plan. Thus, the minimum is Phone + 1 month ($50).

Vodafone's contracts are more like payment plans, not lock in contracts we are used to
