Video: It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 cast and crew had an inordinate amount of fun with one another working on the film. How are you supposed to make a movie with a talking raccoon and a living planet if you’re not laughing your arse off between takes?

In a newly released batch of bloopers from the set, you get the sense that pretty much everyone there made a point of occasionally cutting through the sheer absurdity of the film by going off script and getting a little wild. Remember the scene where Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) explains to Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) how the Sovereign people genetically engineer their offspring in pods? In this outtake, after mulling his lines over for a split second, Pratt ad-libs that on Earth, humans have a similar ability to “control the DNA” of their progeny through a very complicated process colloquially known as doinking.
