Video: As far as I can tell, Okja will get a whole lot of mileage from one essential truth: Don’t take things from little girls. Especially their magical cryptid animal friends.
Directed by Bong Joon Ho (Snowpiercer), Okja will be debuting on Netflix at the end of June. This new trailer shows the friendship between Mija (An Seo Hyun) and the titular creature, as well as the lengths she will go to to try and get the oversized chubster of unknown origin back when they’re cruelly separated. Throwing herself into glass walls, running into traffic, allying with dangerous grown-ups… this girl is stopping at nothing. We’ll see where it all winds up when Okja comes to Netflix on June 28.
