This Hand-Drawn Alien: Covenant Flipbook Is Better Than The Actual Film

Video: Fans of the long-running series might want to skip Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant. The director’s follow-up to Prometheus is not only disappointing, it somehow manages to make both films worse. It isn’t a complete loss, though, thanks to talented stop-motion artist Serene Teh, who made this amazing Alien: Covenant flipbook animation.

Watching an alien burst forth from someone’s chest is slightly less horrific on a hand-drawn flipbook, but this short film will still somehow manage to leave you stressed and strategically looking away from your screen until the scary parts are over.
