What if an alien invasion could be done remotely, ordering humans to do all the dirty work for you from the comfort of your alien spaceship? A new sci-fi short is about humans achieving First Contact, but the signal basically turns you into one of The Infected from The Last of Us.

Skywatch Productions recently released Incoming, a nine-minute sci-fi horror film written and directed by Sam Klein, all about a researcher from the SETI Institute discovering an alien signal that orders people (in a variety of languages) to “attack”. Only problem is the guy who he asked to come check it out has already been infected by the alien signal, leading to a disastrous confrontation where, as the main character puts it, “we’re fucked.”
