Gemini Man

Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen are in talks to voice Timon and Pumba, respectively. [The Wrap]

Starlight

According to Splash Report, Sylvester Stallone is 20th Century Fox’s first pick to play Duke “Starlight” McQueen in an adaptation of Mark Millar’s forthcoming comic book about a retired superhero.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

In a new interview with /Film, Chris Pratt hopes to continue working with Marvel in his role as Star-Lord for as long as he can:

I want to — I love working with them. I’m going to continue to work with them whether they like it or not. Even if they write me out, I’m going to show up on set and be like, ‘Hey, man!’ They’re done. They don’t get to shake me.

James Bond 25

Dave Bautista told Metro there’s a chance Mr Hinx will return:

Believe me we’re talking about it a lot. We’re waiting at home with our fingers crossed … We’re waiting for the news to see if Daniel will sign up for Bond 25, because then there’s a chance that Hinx will come back.

Jurassic World 2

Actor Kevin Lane revealed to Management in Stage and Film that he has been cast as a submarine pilot featured in an “epic” underwater action sequence for the film:

I read for two parts, and ended up getting the role of ‘submarine pilot’, which was the role I wanted as it is quite an epic scene. So I should have a nice cinematic moment on screen in a massive studio film. Filming starts in May [so] hopefully I’ll be in one of their amazing contraptions, pretending that there’s dinosaurs around me. I’ve never worked with CGI before so it’s fun and challenging. But I can now say to people ‘You know there’s no dinosaur there right?’

Animated Spider-Man

Liev Schrieber told Collider the animated Spider-Man movie has a “throwback” feel:

I think real hardcore Spidey fans will be able to follow this with great ease. It will feel very familiar, in a good way, in a kind of throwback way.

Isle of Dogs

A new poster reveals Wes Anderson’s next stop-motion film — about a young boy in Japan trying to find his dog — hits US theatres 20 April 2018.

Cars 3

Here’s a quick teaser for the trailer that dropped earlier.

Game of Thrones

British newspaper the Express claims that Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau have all signed blockbuster contracts to appear in the eighth and final season of the show. So if you want to speculate wildly just a little bit, it probably means Tyrion, Jon, Cersei, Dany and Jaime all make it through the next season alive — which isn’t too surprising, as they’re the primary members of the show’s ensemble cast at this point. But don’t let that stop you from speculating what it means for the cast members not listed here in the comments below!

Riverdale

Due to scheduling reasons, actor Ross Butler is leaving the show and the role of Reggie Mantle will be recast for season two. In a statement released to TV Line, series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sarcasa stated:

We love what Ross did with the role of Reggie [this season], but because of his commitments to other projects, we couldn’t use him nearly as much as we would have liked. [Next season], we want more Reggie on our show — he’s Archie’s rival! — and because Ross is unavailable to come back to Riverdale, we’re looking for a new Reggie. Those are big shoes to fill, but we’re confident we can find an actor who is as funny and sexy as Ross. And of course we all wish Ross the best.

Powerless

Bad news! It appears the series has been functionally cancelled at NBC, as the final two episodes have been pulled from the station’s schedule entirely, according to executive producer Patrick Schumaker:

The Originals

Alaric returns in the synopsis for the upcoming episode “Voodoo In My Blood”.

After being summoned by the ancestors, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) travel to the ancestral world and come face to face with Davina (guest star Danielle Campbell), Klaus’ former foe and the one person who holds the secrets to The Hollow’s demise. Meanwhile, old wounds are re-opened when Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) are forced into an uneasy alliance. Together, they meet with Alaric (guest star Matt Davis) who has tracked down a crucial artifact that could help in their fight against The Hollow.

Supergirl/The Flash

Finally, here are two new posters for the show’s next episodes, showing Barry facing down Savitar for “The Once and Future Flash”, and Kara… well, standing there, for “Alex”, an episode about her sister. [Comic Book Movie]
