If you're looking for a new laptop this weekend, you might want to take a look at the Microsoft Store. Until midnight Sunday, Microsoft has cut the price of its Surface Pro 4 tablet-laptop hybrid by 15 per cent, saving you over $600 on the top model.
Every spec of the Surface Pro 4 apart from the base Core M one has 15 per cent cut off its price on the Microsoft Store until midnight Sunday. If we're talking about the top-of-the-line Surface Pro 4 with a 1TB SSD and a Core i7 CPU, that's $607.35 off its (frankly ridiculous) $4049 retail price, slashing that down to a more reasonable $3441.65.
For the Goldilocks version of the Surface Pro 4 — not too expensive, not underpowered — you'll save $344.85. That's the Core i7-powered Pro 4 with a 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM, which at $2299 RRP is a significant saving over the otherwise identical Pro 4 with 16GB of RAM for $2699 RRP. Our favourite Pro 4 drops to $1954.15, under $2000 for the first time. That's good value.
