Who On Earth (Or Anywhere Else) Could Be Thanos’ Henchman In Avengers: Infinity War?

After years of hanging around almost exclusively in post-credit teasers, Thanos is stepping into the limelight for Avengers: Infinity War. But apparently, he’s bringing friends. Who could they be? A new tidbit of information gives us the most fleeting of hints.

We know that Thanos will have a right-hand man in the movie thanks to a new interview with Terry Notary, the actor behind the motion-capture performance of King Kong in Kong: Skull Island — who confirmed that his next project is bringing another mo-cap character life in the next Avengers movie:

I’m working on four characters right now. I’m working with Josh Brolin and three other actors [in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War], and I’m playing Josh Brolin’s right hand bad guy in the film. I can’t say the name of the character or I think Marvel will sever my head, but I apply those same principals of what it means to drop bullshit and just play a character truly evil. And it’s working. [Laughs] It’s truly working.

Honestly, we’re pretty stumped as to who Notary could be playing. The way that Notary describes his role being heavily involved with Brolin and three other actors makes us think of the Black Order, a group of Thanos’ lackeys introduced in New Avengers lead by Corvus Glaive, as a series of henchman the Mad Titan could use in his endless crusade to raze the cosmos. The first incarnation of the group featured Glaive alongside the violent warrior Black Dwarf, strategist Ebony Maw, and telepathic parasite Supergiant. So Notary potentially playing Glaive could make a lot of sense.

But is there anyone else who it could be? We have a while before Infinity War hits theatres in 2018, so you have plenty of time to speculate in the comments below.
