Tesla Is Setting Up Shop In Brisbane

Tesla’s third Australian service centre is set to open up in Brisbane in the second half of 2017.

Tesla said in a statement Brisbane was “the next obvious place for expansion” following 12 months of test drives and the completion of the Supercharger Network connecting the major cities along the east coast up to the Queensland capital.

Tesla also confirmed that an application for construction has taken place at 1062 Ann St in Fortitude Valley.

Service centres are already open in Richmond and Lower North Shore Sydney, and there’s a retail store in Melbourne’s Chadstone. Sydney’s Martin Place is home to the flagship store.

There will likely be three vehicles, a Design Studio, a Tesla Powerwall display and lounge alonside the delivery bay and service centre.
