Video: Already one of the more popular characters from the original Guardians of the Galaxy movie, the sequel introduces a baby version of Groot so cute he might as well have been engineered in a lab as the perfect toy-selling tool. So why not build your own, like Caleb Kraft, who now has a tiny animated baby Groot puppet perched on his shoulder while he works?
If you know how to use a drill and a hot glue gun, assembling the baby Groot puppet doesn’t appear to be terribly difficult. In fact, the hardest part might be waiting for the 3D-printed character to be complete. Caleb also has some useful tips in his making-of video on how to paint your plastic Groot to make it appear more wooden — which in this case actually makes it seem more lifelike.
