Get a look at some of the weird and wonderful aliens of Valerian. Once Upon a Time might be saying farewell to two major characters. Another familiar face could appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The cast of The Flash discusses the ramifications of the latest episode. Plus, a new picture from Pacific Rim: Uprising. Spoilers!
Black Panther
At yesterday’s Disney CinemaCon panel, the full main cast list for the movie was revealed — confirming at last that Letitia Wright (cast in a previously undisclosed role) will be playing Shuri, T’Challa’s young sister and member of the Wakandan royal family.

Although it’s perhaps not likely to occur in the MCU just yet, Shuri also took on the mantle of Black Panther for a period, while her older brother vacated the role to combat Doctor Doom and the Cabal.
Spider-Man: Homecoming
Lainey Gossip reports Gwyneth Paltrow will make her return to the MCU as Pepper Potts in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Naturally, as a gossip site, they also have some perfunctory drama around Paltrow’s return, alleging that the actor’s astronomical day rates — which kept Pepper from appearing in Captain America: Civil War as originally reported — are a point of consternation between Sony and Marvel, since Sony is “footing the bill” this time around.
Venom
According to Splash Report, producer Adi Shankar — who’s already responsible for a Venom fan film, as well as being behind the upcoming Netflix Castlevania adaptation and the infamously gritty Power Rangers reboot short — is on the shortlist to direct.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
Collider has the first image of the Azin Mö, alien medical doctors capable of teleportation and cell regeneration.
The Azin Mö are the medical doctors of Alpha, the city of a thousand planets, intergalactically famous for their extraordinary materialization abilities and immortal nature. They can produce any organic cell and so have the gift of spontaneous regeneration. They also have the ability to “teleport”, but they require several days to recover from each trip, during which time they are physically and mentally feeble, which makes them paradoxically vulnerable. Over the centuries, they have been a favourite target of mercenaries and space pirates seeking to usurp the species’ powers.
Meanwhile, IGN revealed another species from the film, the gigantic aquatic Bromosaurs:
Bromosaurs are enormous creatures that graze on the seabed of the Galana Sea on Alpha, the city of a thousand planets. Their respiratory system filters water and expels it in purified form from an orifice on top of its head that is similar to a whale’s blowhole. This purification process attracts a very fragile animal with exceptional sensorial powers, the Mylea jellyfish, which clamps onto the bromosaur because it needs highly purified water to survive. In return, the jellyfish, which can read minds, enables bromosaurs to communicate as if they are logged onto a huge computer network.

Pacific Rim: Uprising

The latest photo of Lara Croft has materialised from a cloud of soot.
American Horror Story
In more weird American Horror Story casting news, Billy Eichner of Billy on the Street fame has been cast as “a confidant” of Sarah Paulson’s character, who, according to Deadline, “will be wearing mysterious tank tops”. The site reports Eichner will appear in “six or seven” episodes of season seven.
Legends of Tomorrow
Executive producer Phil Klemmer confirmed new characters will be added to the cast for season three.
We haven’t fully pitched it, but we’ve got great ideas, and hopefully the studio and network agree. But so much of the show is working well this year. You just want to play to your strengths, and keep having fun.

The Flash
If this week’s episode wasn’t enough of a hint, executive producer Aaron Helbing confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that Cisco’s vision of Vibe squaring off against Killer Frost will transpire before the season is through, now that Caitlin’s Killer Frost persona has reawoken. In the words of Carlos Valdes, “Some things are going to happen that the team won’t see coming. There’s only so much preparedness that you can have with things like this.”
Westworld
According to showrunner Lisa Joy (in an interview with TV Insider) season two will not feature multiple timelines.
It made sense to do multiple timelines, because it showed how Dolores felt, and that confusion. ‘I’m in love, but [The Man In Black] is coming for me. [Only] then realise, I haven’t changed, but so much time has changed and now he’s this.’ The timeline thing is in service of landing that point of view for Dolores.
Once Upon a Time
According to an Instagram post that has since been deleted (but captured for posterity by Spoiler TV), both Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas have allegedly confirmed they are departing Once Upon a Time, whether or not the show is renewed for a seventh season.
