“Wildly original and audacious”, am I right? It truly is both those things. It’s also quite good, but to explain why in depth would give away a little too much. Let’s just say the fact it’s about a character who has a monster avatar halfway across the world is not even the craziest thing about it. But, if you’ve seen the films of director Nacho Vigalondo before (Timecrimes being the most famous), that’s not too big of a surprise. Things get pretty deep and crazy and it’s going to be quite a lightning rod once people see it.
