Here’s A Friendly Reminder That Nothing In Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Was Real

Here’s A Friendly Reminder That Nothing In Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Was Real

Video: We knew the beasts and the magic were fake, but did you know that pretty much everything you saw on screen wasn’t there? At this point, an effects reel could reveal that Eddie Redmayne was actually five rabbits in a coat with some tremendous special effects work and I’d believe it.

Actually, I did figure that the New York City in this movie wasn’t real, since it was showing places I was literally walking around before and after I saw this movie with streets wider than they have ever had. But I thought it was at least a set or, like, a real place in England with New York set dressing. But according to the visual effects video from Rodeo FX, it was all green screen.

Did you know the bank wasn’t real, either? I’m seriously questioning reality right now.
