Australians Love Boning To The Cantina Band From Star Wars

Spotify has revealed the top tracks that get us in the mood on the sexiest day of the year, and all year around.

As expected, love-song aficionado, Ed Sheeran, took out the top Valentine's Day song spot in Australia with "Thinking Out Loud", while Sam Smith and John Legend battled it out with old school crooners Elvis Presley and Elton John for a place in the top five. Nineties classic "Kiss From a Rose" by Seal and 00's favourite "Crazy in Love" by Beyonce also make an appearance in the top 10.

"But for those who want to get right down to business," Spotify says, "'Cantina Band' from the Star Wars: A New Hope Soundtrack, by John Williams, takes out the number one spot on the top sexy time playlists, by a landslide."

"Let's Get It On" is the top song streamed on love playlists and the top luuurve artists include Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran and Rihanna.

This data was collected from all Australian Spotify playlists that are entitled or have the words "Valentine's Day", "Valentine's", "love" or "sex".

    The cantina, really? Have shared the spice of life to tunes from Jaba's palace (plus other contextual paraphernalia), but I'm not feeling it for the cantina music.
