Avengers: Infinity War

Speaking with MTV News, Zoe Saldana confirmed Gamora will be in the movie.

I don’t know when they’re going to let me read it. I’m not looking forward to the 5 hours of green make up, but every time I finally arrive on set I feel so happy and lucky to be there.

Similarly, in an interview with Italian magazine L’Uomo Vogue, Tom Holland revealed Spider-Man will also appear in the overstuffed Avengers movie. Inserted through Google Translate, Holland’s answer makes him sound a bit like a Kraang.

The approval for the role in Spider-Man arrives personally also by Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans ‘They who convinced the Marvel: the producers wanted to be sure that I was the right person before entrusting three films over the next four years, including Avengers: Infinity War.

Wonder Woman

The French publication Studio Ciné Live appears to have confirmed that Ares is the main villain of the film, with Les Toiles Héroïques providing the text and translation. But there are no images of the text, so we have to take their word for it:

Behind these scientific formulas, there is a deadly gas that could well annihilate humanity. It turns out that it might interest Ares, the god of war. He is jealous of humanity, which is a creation of his father, the deceased Zeus (the Amazons and Zeus rebelled against Ares and Zeus died from the hand of his son)

Aquaman

Writer Will Beall says his movie about a crime-fighting Atlantean may not be a turgid slog after all.

It’s going to be fun, it’s going to be really fun. What we’ve come up with and James [Wan] especially — he has a really clear idea of the tone he’s going to have, and I think Aquaman is one that’s going to blow people’s minds, not just visually, but I think the story and the scope of it is really great.

Justice League

In the same interview, Beall makes a case for Justice League being more fun than Batman v Superman.

I think Justice League again is, what you’re going to see — I hope I’m not going to get in trouble for saying this — but it’s much more fun, much poppier, than … I haven’t seen Wonder Woman yet, but Batman vs Superman was a little more somber. But Justice League is a lot more fun. And I think that feels to me like the direction those movies are heading now.

Mad Max: Fury Road

Tom Hardy is ready for sequels.

Yeah I believe so! I don’t know when that starts, but I believe that’s in the books. There’s a couple of those floating around. I’m waiting for the call to come. It was so good, man.

Han Solo

When asked if his super dead, physically atomized character Cassian Andor would be appearing in the Han Solo movie, actor Diego Luna answered, “Well, I don’t have an answer for that.”

But we do: Probably not, no.

Black Lightning

The new DC/CW series in development is Black Lightning, but it will not be part of the Arrowverse, according to Greg Berlanti.

I don’t think so. If we’re lucky enough that that exists, that that show exists, I don’t think those worlds will cross over.

Arrow

Despite us having been told the opposite, Marc Guggenheim says there could still be an occasional flashback on Arrow after season five.

We basically went into this season [the fifth one] with the expectation that we would get a sixth season and we basically decided that this [season 5] would be the last year of the island-centric flashbacks.

I think, going forward, flashbacks are still a part of the show and we’ve seen in plenty of episodes we’ve done non-island, non-Russia flashbacks with Felicity…and we’re doing that again on 5.13, we’re going to flashback to Renee’s period before he was Wild Dog. That’s a tool in our toolbox. I don’t think we have an expectation to do a flashback every single episode of season 6, but again, it’s part and parcel of the show and we’ll just continue going on the way we are.

He adds:

We’ve totally talked about [flash-forwards] and I don’t rule that out at all. But the island story, which is a continuing story unlike the other flashbacks I’ve mentioned, will end in Season 5.

Gotham

Raymond J. Barry has been cast as a temple shaman and mentor to Bruce Wayne.

Barry will play the temple Shaman, a mysterious figure who enters Bruce’s (Mazouz) life with the stated intention of unlocking the potential of his own mind. While the Shaman says the fate of Gotham depends upon Bruce becoming the man the city needs him to become, the truth behind his intentions proves to be far more sinister. From writer/executive producer Bruno Heller, Gotham follows one cop’s rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering between good and evil, and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.
