If the highly-suspect 35-page document published yesterday by Buzzfeed is to be believed, US President-elect Trump has paid to be urinated on by Russian prostitutes. Dino Rachiele is not a prostitute, but he did give Trump a golden shower — and he’s proud of it.

Mr Rachiele manufactures high-end sinks, though he told Gizmodo in a brief phone call today that he used to sell various home fixtures. In a 2011 video titled “I gave Donald Trump a golden shower”, Mr Rachiele — a Trump supporter — explains how he received two gold-coloured shower heads back in 2007 and, knowing the mogul’s obsession with precious metals, decided to mail one to him.
He got a letter back from Trump’s then-executive assistant Thuy Nguyen, leaving room for potential to work together on some Las Vegas developments which never materialised.

In light of the sketchy dossier published by Buzzfeed, though, views on Mr Rachiele’s video has leapt from a few dozen to, currently, over 40,000. Since its publication, Mr Rachiele says his inbox has been flooded, with “many asking if I’m prophetic, and I can see the future”. In the time since the video was posted the company that made those golden shower heads has gone out of business. Trump evidently has one, somewhere.
Mr Rachiele has the other one — and based on an outpouring of interest in purchasing a golden piece of history, he’s about to start taking bids on it.
