Video: In apparent preparation for moving to an Atlantean utopia after nuclear fallout, Matthew Villegas recently went free diving underneath the frozen lake of Morrison Quarry in Quebec and captured the scary adventure on camera. The results are a terrifyingly surreal blue-green adventure.
Here he is floating on an underwater ice bed while the silhouette of a fellow diver breezes above him:
In a moment that definitely doesn’t look post-apocalyptic, Villegas explores the husk of a downed plane, swimming through the open window shield and out the side door:
He doesn’t appear to have come in contact with any hideous mutated fish-monsters, though, being Canadian, maybe they were too polite to come out?
