Carrie Fisher will be buried with her mother, Debbie Reynolds, according to a report from the Associated Press. Reynolds — who starred in Singin’ in the Rain and is mother of the late Star Wars legend — died the day after her daughter did.

On Friday the Los Angeles coroner’s office released Fisher’s body to her family. “My mother and my sister are together right now,” Todd Fisher told the Associated Press. Fisher said before his mother passed, Reynolds told him, “I want to be with Carrie.”
In an interview with 20/20, Fisher said, “From the family’s perspective, this is Debbie’s destiny. She didn’t want to leave Carrie and did not want to her to be alone.”
The brother of the actress most famous for playing Princess Leia said that the family plans to have a private funeral, and is discussing having a public memorial, though they have yet to make any plans.
“We’re broken-hearted, those of us that are left behind,” Fisher told 20/20. “We also are happy that they’re together. It’s horrible, it’s beautiful, it’s magical they are together, it’s beyond words, it’s beyond understanding.”
