Video: In the not-so-distant future, a young woman and her father have retreated to the wilderness, the only place where humans can still feel some semblance of freedom. But it’s lawless and dangerous in the woods — and when thieves snatch the girl’s most prized possession, she’ll stop at absolutely nothing to get it back.
Director Simon Saulnier’s stirring short The Edge (or La lisière; there isn’t a ton of dialogue, but make sure you have the subtitles turned on) is only going to be available online for a week, starting today, so make sure you check it out ASAP.
