When you’re buying your lunch today, you might want to take a moment and spend a little more. Gizmodo’s Lunch Time Deals posts point out any particularly good bargains for Aussie bargain hunters around the ‘net. Today EB Games are having a “Mad Monday” sale, and it is actually not terrible.
There’s a Steam controller going for $63, a Steam link for $36, a decent PS4 Pro bundle for $599 and a three-games-plus-Xbox One S bundle for $349.
The Steam controller, with its dual touchpads and internal gyroscopes, is even able to be used outside of regular gaming. At $63, it’s not a bad investment. The Steam Link is going for $36, and if you pick one up you’ll be able to mirror games from your desk-bound gaming PC onto a big-screen TV in another room over Wi-Fi or a wired connection.
There’s also a 1TB PS4 Pro bundle with Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition, Dishonored 2, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special edition and Fallout 4 going for $599. What makes it Pro? Basically the new system from Sony features higher powered guts than the original PS4, and game designers can take advantage of those guts just as they would on a PC with a high-end video card. You can check out our review here.
Lastly is the 500GB Xbox One S bundle, with FIFA 17 with Rare Player Pack game download, Battlefield 1 game download The LEGO Movie 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and a choice of Forza Motorsport 6, Rare Replay, Gears of War Collection or Tomb Raider as a full game download for $349. When we reviewed the console, it was pointed out that it is so future-proof most current TVs won’t be able to take advantage of its best features yet. You can read more about it here.
So there you go. There’s probably a few more deals on the site as well to catch your eye, but in the lead-up to Christmas, these aren’t too bad.
