Here’s Every Aussie Bank With Apple Pay

One year after its launch in Australia with American Express as a partner and with ANZ Bank eventually joining up too, Apple Pay looks like it’s starting to hit its stride in Australia. Here’s every bank that supports the cardless payment app for iPhone and Apple Watch.

39 banks and credit unions in total now have access to Apple Pay. ANZ is by far the largest operator on the list, but this is also a timely reminder that Australia’s other large banks are still not on board and are negotiating for their own access outside Apple Pay to the iPhone’s NFC chip.

Personally, I’m stoked. I’ve got an American Express but all of my savings are with Credit Union Australia, and as of today it’s on the list of Apple Pay-supported banks and credit unions. I use Apple Pay a hell of a lot, as it turns out — and more often than not it’s on my Apple Watch, which is already out on my wrist and not hidden in my pocket.
