But that's exactly what happened to Australian photographer Beau Pilgrim, who fortunately got the whole thing on video. To put things in perspective, a fully grown humpback whale can weigh as much as 36,300kg, which means that if it came crashing down right on Pilgrim, we wouldn't have this remarkable footage to ooh and awe over.
