We’ve been posting on Instagram for a little while now, and unless you’re following us you’ve been missing out on some behind-the-scenes gems from our Sydney office. Now our friends at Lifehacker and Kotaku have joined us too. Here’s a little bit of what you can expect!
For all of your #foodporn needs, Lifehacker Australia has your back. Look at this.
These are beer can bacon burgers. You heard that right. Beer can bacon burgers. I hope you haven't got a plan for dinner yet. You can find the full recipe for these mouthwatering morsels at the link in our bio. ?? ?: BBQ Pit Boys #burgers #bacon #beer #lifehacks #foodporn #food #recipes #baconmakeseverythingbetter
Kotaku Australia is posting some sweet gaming videos, cosplay highlights and breaking news.
Now this is how you cosplay Reinhardt. No, this isn't a statue, or even a puppet – it's a fully wearable and movable costume. @egg_sisters_cosplay are doing cosplay right at DragonCon, with a cameo from @nefenicosplay as Genji. Check out their social media pages or jump on to kotaku.com.au for more! #costaku #cosplay #overwatch #blizzard #dragoncon #genji #reinhardt
This is the new PS4 Slim. At least we think it is, but it's never been officially announced or even acknowledged by Sony. It's an odd situation – the console has appeared for sale on eBay, has been featured in videos and even reviewed already. Chances are it'll be announced officially at Sony's event on September 7, though we'll probably see plenty of info about it from unofficial sources before then. Check out our coverage at the link in our bio for more info. #playstation4 #playstation #sony #ps4slim #leaked #videogames #gaming #consolegaming
And then there’s us, Gizmodo Australia. We play with things, essentially.
Something fun arrived in the office today: a full life-sized replica of Mark Watney's helmet from The Martian. Unfortunately we don't get to keep it, because we're giving it away to one of you guys instead! To see how you can win, check the link in our profile! #competition #markwatney #themartian #themartianmovie #mars #astronaut
Giz journalist @raejohnston is playing with Sphero's new Force Band. As the name suggests, you can use it to control your BB-8 WITH THE FORCE. Or maybe it's just gesture control. It's pretty fun, though whether it's worth the $140 price tag (just for the band) maybe depends on your enthusiasm for Star Wars. Look out for more about the new Sphero wearable on gizmodo.com.au #sphero #bb8 #toys #starwars #usetheforce #theforceawakens
