Unfortunately, we don’t have any of them up in space, but it hasn’t stopped some cosmic creatives from trying to mimic the effect on photos taken by NASA, ESO and other space research groups.

A collection of these excellently doctored photos was posted to Reddit’s r/space this morning by user berkshireee. It’s not clear if berkshireee is the person who processed these images or how exactly the effect was achieved, but regardless, it’s a neat trick that makes the vastness of space feel a little less overwhelming.
