The newest photos from New York production on Iron Fist have been released, and nope, Danny Rand isn’t having a good time at all.

The pics show Danny, played by Finn Jones, howling in pain from what appears to be a gaping side wound. I mean, just look at his face in the lower-right photo (click to see it in full). He could really use a hug.

In the comic book, Rand can summon his chi to heal his wounds, though it doesn’t look to be working yet. Then again, he’s also supposed to have the power of the Iron Fist, and so far we’ve only seen him use it on one wall. No word whether his healing ability will be in the series, but it could be what he’s doing in the scene. After he lets out a good cry.

Other photos show Rand hanging out with Joy Meachum (Jessica Stroup), the daughter of Harold Meachum who helped build Rand Enterprises, at least until Danny comes back to muck up the works. Speaking of which, when was the last time you showered, Danny?
It’s no wonder Danny’s looking dishevelled; after all, that’s pretty much been his MO since the first teaser trailer. Plane crashes, wall dust, giant beard. Danny could definitely use a spa day.
