Back in 2009, a vibrant, hilarious French animated film called A Town Called Panic was released. Ninety-nine per cent of us didn’t see it. The few that did, though, fell in love with its simple, brilliant aesthetic and funny, eccentric toy characters. Now, seven years later, two short sequels are being released.
They’re called Christmas Panic and Back to School Panic. GKids will release them in limited US theatres September 24, and here’s a quick trailer.
Unfortunately an Australian release has yet to be confirmed. If you’re intrigued, I highly recommend searching out A Town Called Panic. You’ll never forget it.
