The iPhone Photography Awards is run independently of Apple, but since 2007 it’s the first and longest-running competition of its kind — shot exclusively, obviously, on Apple’s iPhone. A jury selects winners from entrants from 130 countries, and this year Australia got three nods.

Nicky Ryan, an already-award-winning freelance photographer from Sydney, took a photo of swimmers at sunset, while Glenn Homann from Ipswich took a beautiful panorama on a freezing morning and Kevin Casey from Pemulwuy took a summer snap of kids diving at Botany Bay.

All of these images are absolutely gorgeous — some of them definitely deserve a place in Apple’s equally beautiful Shot on iPhone campaign. Feast your eyes below, or take a look at the IPP Awards website for a complete list of all the entries and winners.
