When it comes to popular franchises, Game of Thrones and Star Wars are definitely on the top tier. If you’ve ever wondered about a potential crossover between the two, look no further. One talented artist has illustrated a gorgeous series putting some of the biggest names on Game of Thrones into a galaxy far, far away.
The series, which is called Game of Star Wars, is the brainchild of artist Andrew D. Tran (who also goes by the name Doctaword), and envisions what certain GoT characters would look like if they just happened to live in the Star Wars universe.
Daenerys Targaryen would most likely be the Mother of Rancors (who, as we know, may be a fearsome foe but also must have a soft side if Tyrion Lannister looks a bit more roguish than his TV show counterpart, though perhaps still prone to frequent imbibing as the dubbed “Imp Scoundrel.”
Envisioning Arya Stark as a Jedi apprentice is, frankly, a no-brainer. It’s just a shame that all of her masters would most likely end up becoming one with the Force.
The Lord of Light has always felt somewhat more sinister than benevolent in terms of the available gods to worship in the Game of Thrones world, so depicting Melisandre as a Sith Lord is a perfect reminder of what she’s capable of.
