This Fully Bespoke Aston Martin Vantage GT12 Roadster Is A Work Of Art

Image Cache: This is Aston Martin’s most over-the-top open-top ever built. This one-off Vantage GT12 Roadster is the work of Q By Aston Martin, the James Bond-esque design studio that creates unique, hand-made vehicles for (insanely wealthy) customers around the world.

Based upon the super-lightweight Vantage GT12 Coupe, a short production run itself limited to 100 cars and destined for a life of (hopefully) continuous world-class track racing, the Vantage GT12 Roadster takes all that hardcore design and construction and softens it slightly by taking the roof off, although more body panels than ever are built from light carbon fibre and the car’s suspension setup is an entirely one-off creation.

Aston Martin makes it clear that the Vantage GT12 Roadster is the start of a new, specialised division within the company that can create entirely unique vehicles from the ground up, as long as you have the cash: “With the incorporation of Aston Martin Advanced Operations — the team responsible for the original Vantage GT12 Coupe, along with low volume in-house projects such as the Aston Martin Vulcan, Lagonda Taraf and One-77 — customers can now commission highly ambitious full-scale design and engineering projects.”
